December GlossyBox review...

Happy New Year everyone!

Apologies for going M.I.A! Time has just racing by...but now I'm back! Below is a late review of my first GlossyBox! Enjoy xx

So I received my first Glossybox in December! See below for more detailed pics of the contents:

I was very happy to open the box and find these amazing products inside. As expected i grabbed the Sleek Lipstick in colour O.M.G first and tried it on straight away!

The application of this lipstick is fabulous and can be worn with or without a lip liner. This Sleek Lipstick in colour O.M.G has an orange tone to it and is very bold.  Its full size is 3.5g and is priced at £4.99.  This is a Sheen Lipstick and in my opinion, it does not need additional lip gloss.

I wore this Lipstick for most of the day and only had to top up once.  I would recommend wearing this lipstick with a clean eyeliner look. Its all about the lips for this make up look! From my first time use I would recommend adding the lipstick to your collection.

New Years Eve...

So here are my long over due pictures from New Years Eve.

Every year since I can remember I've spent NYE at church, and this year was no different.
I loved it, everyone glams up and we go into an amazing time of Praise and Worship into the new year.

This is the outfit I decided to go with this year. I was really nervous about wear a fitted white dress, but once i put the whole outfit together it wasn't so bad! Below I've listed a breakdown of the outfit.

For my make up look it it was all about the glittery eyes and a burst of colour!

Tame those Brows!

A key look to my everyday face is clean and defined eyebrows. I probably get my eyebrows threaded 6 times a year, but most of the time i just work with the grown out brows, when I'm doing my make up. the technique I use is easy to re-create and gives you the same finished look as a threaded brow!

I have received a number of requests for a step by step guide on how to achieve this brow look. So as requested please see below my 6 page picture guide and if any of you re-create this look please leave comments to let me know how it went.

Her Sparkles Speak...

I bought my first pair of crystal strassed pumps early this year. While I was putting together concepts for my first official photoshoot, doing a crystals strassed lips look was at the top of my list! It took me about 50mins to complete this look using Swarovski flat multi colour and silver Crystals and I was really happy with the results.

This a bold and dramatic look that can be used for an editorial shoot or for the Bold Makeupholic that not afraid to step outside the box!

The lady is a vamp!

One of the trending make up looks from this Fall was the 'Vampire look'. I watched countless Youtube videos to see different interpretations of this edgy look. A key feature to this is the rich lip colour, which is mainly in the Purple family. Two of my favorite lipsticks to achieve this are both from M.A.C cosmetics, satin lipstick in Cyber and Pro Longwear Lipcream in Soulfully Rich. These two colours are very similar but I personally prefer to use Soulfully Rich. The colour is bold and lasted  all day! I couldn't believe it! I only had to top up once and that was because I went for lunch at Cha Cha Moon which was beyond amazing! 

Below is my take on the Vampire look, which was also my first official photo shoot called 'Vamp Glam'.
